Video Poker Overview

At the start of the game, you are dealt 5 cards.

You have one more chance to draw cards. Before doing so, you can choose the cards you want to keep by selecting to "Hold" them. You can draw all five cards if you don't like any of the cards you received.

After you draw more cards, you can win winnings according to the hand you have with the 5 cards. The more difficult the hand, the higher you will be paid out.

Other than this, video poker has various special features. For example, you can choose to try for a double-or-nothing on your winnings by doing a "Double Up", or play numerous hands at the same time with "Multi Hand" games.

Video Poker Strategies and Rules

Poker is a game with a high payout ratio, which means you are less likely to lose on this game than most of the other gambling games. So the basics of this game is to play for a long time. Learn the winning hands below to start playing.

The hands are shown in order of difficulty, with the easiest hand first. The more difficult the hand, the higher the payout!

One Pair

A pair of the same numbered cards.

Two Pair

Two pairs of the same numbered cards.

Three Card (or Three of a Kind)

Three cards with the same number.

Straight

This is a hand with 5 consecutive numbers. Note, that the combination of "10, J, Q, K, A" is an acceptable hand, but "J, Q, K, A, 2" is not accepted as a straight.

Flush

This is a hand with 5 cards of the same suit.

Full House

This hand consists of one pair of the same numbered card, and three cards of the same number.

Four Card (or Four of a Kind)

Four cards of the same number.

Straight Flush

Five cards of the same suit, with consecutive numbers.

Royal Straight Flush

Five cards with the same suit, numbered 10, J, Q, K, and ace. This is the strongest hand in poker.

Video Poker Game Variations

Jacks or Better -Video Poker-

This game accepts any hand above a one pair of jacks as winning hands. One pairs that are 10s or lower are not accepted as a win. That is why the game is called "Jacks or Better".

This game accepts any hand above a one pair of 10s as winning hands. One pairs that are 9s or lower are not accepted as a win. That is why the game is called "Tens or Better".

Joker Poker -Video Poker-

Deuces Wild -Video Poker-

Cards numbered "2" can are considered wild, and can be used as any number or suit.

Multi Line (or Multi Hand) Game -Video Poker-

In this game you will draw your first 5 cards, and the cards you hold are reflected in a number of other hands which will also draw the remaining cards. If you have 10 hands, you will have 10 hands to play with, but at the same time you are paying 10 times the bet amount. At the same time, if you have drawn a winning hand already on your first draw, all 10 hands have already won.
